Gospel of Luke Jesus Birth and Death

Gospel of Luke Jesus Birth and Death
When Jesus Was Born
Luke 1
[31] And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.
[34] And Mary said to the angel, "How shall this be, since I have no husband?"

Luke 2
[4] And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,
[5] to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.
[7] And she gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

When Jesus Died
Luke 23
[50] Now there was a man named Joseph from the Jewish town of Arimathe'a. He was a member of the council, a good and righteous man,
[51] who had not consented to their purpose and deed, and he was looking for the kingdom of God.
[52] This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
[53] Then he took it down and wrapped it in a linen shroud, and laid him in a rock-hewn tomb, where no one had ever yet been laid.

Comments
When Jesus was born He began in a virgins womb and when He died Jesus was taken to a tomb in which no one had yet been laid.
He was wrapped in swaddling cloths when born and a wrapped in a linen shroud when taken from the Cross.
He was laid in a manger when born and laid in a rock hewn tomb when buried.

Both Joseph, foster father of Jesus, and Joseph of Arimathea were righteous men who ‘negotiated’ to either take Jesus to the manger or to take Jesus down from the Cross to the tomb.

***********

Luke 2
[41] Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover.
[42] And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom;
[43] and when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents did not know it,
[44] but supposing him to be in the company they went a day's journey, and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintances;
[45] and when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking him.
[46] After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions;
[47] and all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

At 12 yo Jesus went on pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the feast of Passover.
At this time He was separated from His mother because He had to do the will of His Father. Jesus went to the Temple and amazes everyone with His wisdom.
Jesus is reunited with His parents on the Third day.

This event prefigures what will happen at the end of Jesus life.

At the end of His life, Jesus went to Jerusalem at the feast of Passover.
Jesus goes to the Temple and amazes everyone with His wisdom
Separated from His mother He goes to the Cross to do the will of His Father.

Luke 19 47-48
And he was teaching daily in the temple. The chief priests and the scribes and the principal men of the people sought to destroy him; but they did not find anything they could do, for all the people hung upon his words.

Luke 20:1, 26
[1] One day, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes with the elders came up
[26] And they were not able in the presence of the people to catch him by what he said; but marveling at his answer they were silent.
